Attorney - Washington DC

Requirements:

• • DC, MD, & VA Bar licensure in good standing.
• • Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• • Experience in personal injury law preferred.
• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• • Judgment and decision-making abilities.
• • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• • Attention to detail and accuracy.
• • Excellent and prompt verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• • Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history.
• • Experience managing a support staff.

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, although a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• • Interfacing with current clients, providing frequent case status updates.
• • Managing high volume docket of cases.
• • Managing assigned case manager and medical clerk.
• • Filing and responding to motions.
• • Taking and defending depositions.
• • Drafting demands.
• • Attending mediations and hearing.
• • Federal and State petition drafting.
• • Responding to and requesting federal and state discovery.
• • Reviewing medical records.
• • Conducting legal research.
• • Evaluating exhibitions.
• • Team player willing to assist where necessary.
